Dissecting the Wjj Anomaly : Diagnostic Tests of a

چکیده

We examine the scenario where a leptophobic Z ′ boson accounts for the excess of events in the Wjj channel as observed by CDF. We assume generation independent couplings for the Z ′ and obtain allowed regions for the four hadronic couplings using the measured cross section as well as constraints from dijet production at UA2. These coupling regions translate into well-determined rates for the associated production of Z/γ + Z ′ at the Tevatron and LHC, as well as W + Z ′ at the LHC,that are directly correlated with the Wjj rate observed at the Tevatron. The Wjj rate at the LHC is large and this channel should be observed soon once the SM backgrounds are under control. The rates for Z/γ+Z ′ associated production are smaller, and these processes should not yet have been observed at the Tevatron given the expected SM backgrounds. In addition, we show that more coupling information is obtainable from the MWZ′ distribution. Once detected, these processes will provide further valuable information on the Z ′ boson couplings. Dyspnea in Patient with Arteria Lusoria: A Case Report

Introduction: Arteria lusoria is an aberrant right subclavian artery. In symptomatic cases, patients report dysphagia and only in few cases dyspnea, due to external compression of the trachea and esophagus. Symptoms occur in advanced age and diagnosis is made with chest HRCT, when other causes of dysphagia have been excluded.    Case Report: An 83-year-old woman presented with dyspnea and m...

Prevalence of Associated Anomalies in Cleft Lip and/or Palate Patients

Introduction: Orofacial clefts are among the most common congenital anomalies. Patients presenting with orofacial clefts often require surgery or other complex procedures. A cleft lip or palate can be a single anomaly or a part of multiple congenital anomalies. The reported prevalence of cleft disease and associated anomalies varies widely across the literature, and is dependent on the diagnost...

Developmental defect of Mullerian duct is a congenital malformation characterized by anomalies in famale upper genital organs. As the anomaly is associated with obstruction of the duct, other congenital anomalies of urinary tract specially ipsilateral ranal agenesis are common. This anomaly is often discovered in adolescent period and is usually asymptomatic until puberty. To discover this anom...

Clinical Implications of Congenital Absence of Circumflex Coronary Artery

Introduction: Coronary artery anomalies are rare clinical entities reported in 0.6% to 5.6% of diagnostic coronary angiographies. Anomalous origins of coronary arteries from distal segments are rarely reported. Presented herein is a coronary anomaly in which the circumflex artery (CX) originated as a continuation of the posterolateral branch of the right coronary artery (RCA) w...

Vascular anomaly at the craniocervical junction presenting with sub arachnoid hemorrhage: Dilemma in Imaging Diagnosis, Endovascular Management and Complications.

We present a case of a ruptured vertebral artery dissecting aneurysm that mimicked a presumed vascular anomaly by CTA (Computerized Tomographic Angiography). A parenchymal arteriovenous malformation (AVM) or a dural arteriovenous fistula (DAVF) at the craniocervical junction can present with a subarachnoid hemorrhage and cannot be differentiated from a vertebral artery dissection by non invasiv...
